As a poet, I’ve spent whole workshops discussing the existence of a comma—because details matter. I’ve spent the past 9 years working on market-leading science textbooks and digital media products.

I studied Film & Visual Culture and Creative Writing at UC Riverside before completing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Writing at California College of the Arts, where I received a graduate fellowship and merit-based scholarship.

Personally, I continue to write and participate in weekly workshops. Some of my publications have been archived in Library Special Collections at Stanford and Berkeley. In my free time, I’m learning Norwegian, how to darn, and watching too many cooking videos on YouTube with my cat, Sappho.
